Sun Shades

Simco Automotive currently manufactures for seven different car lines, and offers a unique glass fiber composite sunshade that reduces complexity and cost. Features of our sunshades include:

Door Systems

Simco Automotive produces door components including: bolsters, arm rests, center inserts, upper door panels, and a full door substrate out of natural fiber. Features of our door components include:

  • Class A surface, or carrier
  • Integrate leather covering
  • Vinyl, cloth or leather surface
  • Substrates of plastic, natural fiber, glass reinforced polyprpylene, and glass polypropylene blends
  • Recyclable
  • Acoustic managment

Load Floors

Situated in the rear of the vehicle, these functional weight carrying components require strength, weight and functionality. Simco utilizes a variety of materials to solve your load floor components. Whether needed to cover a spare tire or support a load of 250 lbs. we can provide you with a solution. The following are materials that we produce load floors with:

Other Components:

Simco provides a variety of other molded components for automotive trim applications:

  • Seat Backs
    In addition to seat backs, we can provide molded structural components for under your seat covers. Simco manufactures these components out of natural fiber, glass fiber, and sewn materials.
  • Center Consoles
    We provide: genuine leather, vinyl, TPO, sewing, or simple molding.
  • Back Panels
    Our back panels help to reduce the road noise that flows through the back of the cab wall. A variety of attachments and clips can be added to the panel, depending on your design.
  • Package Trays
    Package trays have evolved to be design features on new cars. Our manufacturing capabilities allow us to use a variety of materials to make a package tray that completes the vehicle interior.
  • Closeouts and Trunk Liners
    Molded from carpet with a rigid backing, closeouts, and trunk liners hide sheet metal and wiring, while minimizing interior road noise.
  • Acoustical Management
    Simco Automotive has the capability to produce:
    • Pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backed foam blocks to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) and buzz, squeak, and rattle (BSR)
    • Molded under-the-hood parts that also reduce NVH and BSR.
