Qycell Foams

Qycell Corporation specializes in the production of high performance closed-cell cross-linked polyolefin foams ideal for die cutting, laminating, welding, or thermoform processing. Materials include cross-linked, irradiated, EVA, and micro-cellular bun foams. T-Foam Irradiation (TI) and chemically (T) cross-linked closed cell polyethylene (PE) foam are manufactured as continuous sheets that can be supplied in either roll or sheet form.

T Foam - Qycell Crosslinked Polyethylene Foam
T foam is chemically crosslinked polyethylene (PE) foam featuring uniform, closed cells and smooth skins on both sides. It is lightweight, flexible, and soft to the touch, yet strong, tough, resilient, and resistant to moisture, many chemicals, and temperature extremes.

Additives available are PE film (or skin), E.V.A. (for enhanced softness or stretch), and flame retardants.

TI - Qycell Irradiated Crosslinked Foam
Qycell Irradiated (TI) crosslinked foam is a very fine-celled, smooth skinned, irradiated crosslinked polyethylene foam, with closed cells. It is made of a clean, non-toxic material and comes in a wide range of densities, thickness and colors. A light and durable material, irradiated crosslinked foam has excellent shock absorption and thermal insulating properties.

TI also meets FDA regulations for food contact, repels water, and resists weathering and chemicals. Its versatile physical properties enable it to be utilized throughout many industries especially with additives like E.V.A., flame retardants, and static dissipative agents.

TB Foam - Qycell Crosslinked PE Bun Foam
Qycell bun foam (TB) is a unique, closed cell crosslinked polyethylene bun foam. It has an extremely fine celled molecular structure with an aesthetically pleasing, skin-soft exterior. It is also made of a clean and non-toxic material and offers superior flexibility, elasticity and resilience as well as exceptional mechanical strength and durability.

Qycell TB Foam is lightweight and exhibits excellent shock absorption and protects products from vibration, shock and electric static. It can be die cut easily or vacuum formed into simple or complex shapes. This foam is used for many applications such as toys, children's mats, packaging, and shoe insoles.

United Foam can fabricate Qycell foam materials into a wide variety of packaging products and components.
