Tool Control Foam

United Foam is the leading supplier and innovator of tool control and tool box organizer foam used for FOD (Foreign Object Damage) programs. 

United Foam’s tool control solutions were originally developed for aerospace and defense related programs.  Large industrial manufacturers found it crucial to reduce FOD (Foreign Object Damage) and practice tool accountability.  Our custom tool control systems provided solutions to both.  No longer did these manufacturers have to worry about leaving a tool behind with our custom engineered tool control systems.

FOD tool control has expanded beyond these markets and has been useful for lean manufacturing and work place efficiency initiatives.  We offer tool organizer solutions that make use of two color shadow box foam tool organizers that have enhanced productivity, tool accountability, and asset management.  Along with our two color foam solutions we offer laser etching to classify each tool compartment with its appropriate tool part number.
