Vertical & Horizontal Cutting Foam
Vertical saws are used to break down the large buns of foam and other materials into smaller more manageable sizes. They can also be used to put angles on parts or cut less complex shapes as the finished size.
Horizontal saws are used to slice or skive both open and closed cell foams to a required thickness.
UFP Technologies has a number of vertical & horizontal saws throughout our manufacturing facilities. These machines are utilized often as a primary fabrication process to get the desired thickness of a material before it goes onto a secondary process such as die cutting or compression molding.
