When subjected to a load of 550 pounds for 2 hours, FirmaLite featured significantly less deflection and displayed nearly 0 millimeters of deflection after 24 hours, which is 65% better than other heavier load floors. FirmaLite provides the best combination of weight, strength, and price in the industry.

UFP Technologies has put FirmaLite to the test against some of the leading load floor products.

 

24 Hour Load Bearing Test

FirmaLite had minimal deflection when loaded with 20 kilograms of weight and subjected to an ambient temperature of 60°C. Six hours after weight removal, the deflection was reduced by 50% and to almost no deflection after 24 hours.

Short Term Load Bearing Test

When compared to a heavier paper honeycomb composite, FirmaLite displayed a significantly reduced deflection rate throughout the 257 kilogram weight bearing test.

Spread Load Deflection Test

FirmaLite offered a similar maximum sag as other heavier paper honeycomb composite when loaded with a 45 kilogram weight in each corner over a 2 hour span. Additionally, the total sag for FirmaLite was nearly 0 millimeters after 24 hours.
