UFP Technologies has multiple manufacturing capabilities to thermoform custom packaging, component and product solutions from plastics and foams. We can service thermoforming solutions ranging from small-run industrial packaging to large-volume medical device packaging manufactured in a clean room environment.
Our access to a wide variety of materials allows us to produce both thin- and thick-gauge thermoformed packaging and component solutions. We have the design knowledge and manufacturing capabilities to form thick-gauged parts to satisfy protection for heavy components, and durable enough for stacking and reuse. We work extensively with thin-gauge materials as well. These are more common for creating packaging and components for one-time use such as display trays, clamshells and blisters used in retail-packaging applications.
